Cheshire may be famous for cheese, being the home of many Premier League footballers and its cat, but we introduced one more thing to the ancient county at Foodies Festival in Tatton Park recently – Axe Throwing.

This was an incredible weekend – the weather was scorching hot and masses of people descended to the grounds of the beautiful Tatton Park to enjoy great food and drink. Forming part of the Foodies Festival 2022 tour, our Mobile Axe Throwing team headed into Cheshire to put on axe throwing for the renowned food festival.

In addition to our events trailer and 6-lane set-up, we introduced Hammerschlagen to this event too. Needless to say, it went down very well and will now become a permanent addition to the festival tour.

We were delighted seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they gave Axe Throwing a try, and even better, we even had winners of our competition, with plenty of t-shirts won as scores of 25+ were reached.
