Axe throwing parties and special occasions can accommodate a variety of events, ranging from birthdays to hen and stag do’s. The scope extends even further to encompass larger organised gatherings such as Halloween and Bonfire night, which are very popular times of the year for us. Our trailers possess the capability to be transported to nearly any location; however, in instances where space is restricted, you may opt for our target and safety net system—an alternative that is particularly suited to back garden parties.

Organised Events
If you’re an event organiser and are hosting a gathering and you want to include axe throwing but feel hiring our services isn’t feasible, then why not consider allowing us to charge your attendees on your behalf? This alternative approach offers the opportunity to recover our hire charges while also generating a profit. We invite you to take a look at our revenue play cards which provide detailed insights into how incorporating axe throwing at your organised event could be beneficial for you.
So it goes without saying that we are well-versed in the art of axe throwing. Our extensive experience enables us to efficiently impart the necessary techniques to your guests, ensuring they swiftly grasp the skill and successfully land their axes on target. Initially, our teaching approach maintains an informal ambiance for those who express interest in participating. Once everyone feels at ease with the process, we provide them with the opportunity to engage in friendly competition by challenging one another through a series of ten throws each, striving to attain the highest scores possible.

SATISFYING
Apple Smashing
Optional Extra – Kids Love It
Apple smashing is among the additional activities we offer to enhance your experience. Apart from providing a source of gratification through the act of throwing an axe and annihilating a piece of fruit, this particular endeavour caters to individuals who may find it challenging to accurately hit the target board with their axes. These may include children who possess a genuine addiction for the game and struggle to put the axes down once they’ve grabbed them!
DRINKING GAME
Hammerschlagen
Optional Extra – Great Drinking Game
This game, known as “Hammerschlagen,” is a straightforward and enjoyable activity. Each player begins by selecting a nail from the bucket and gently inserting it into the timber to establish its starting position. To determine the order of play within your group, you can collectively decide who goes first. When it’s your turn, hold the hammer down at your side and execute one continuous motion to raise it and attempt to strike your nail. Remember, only one attempt is allowed per turn. If you find that your nail needs repositioning, don’t fret! You can correct its position on your next turn but forfeit an opportunity to strike it in doing so. The objective of Hammerschlagen is simple: be the first player to fully embed their nail into the timber!
Game Suggestions
Play for a wager – winner takes all!
Miss your nail – take a slurp of beer!
Last one standing – buy all of your mates a drink!
Optional Extra – Unlimited Attempts
This is a game that has gained significant traction across our venues and at festivals. The objective of the player is to achieve a minimum score of 25 or higher within six throws, with the reward being a TimberJacks tee. It’s interesting to observe how even those individuals who may not initially appear competitive can surprise you by showcasing their innate drive and determination in this gripping game.

Axe Winner Competition
Optional Extra – Recommended
The axe winner competition allows players the opportunity to showcase their throwing skills. In each round, participants are given six throws to score points. They can choose to play multiple times, although the ultimate victor remains unknown until the conclusion of the show. The player with the highest scoring round throughout the entire event will be awarded one of our paracord handle wrapped axes as a prize.
The winner will be able to choose from over 50 axe colours and it will be posted out to them within a few days.
